Program Details
Investigate unknowns, evaluate data, and think logically about how equations translate to actions in PBA’s cross-disciplinary mathematics bachelor’s degree program. You’ll establish deep knowledge in several domains of mathematics and support your learning with broad expertise across a paired minor or second major and the general education core.
A minor or additional major expands your knowledge and enhances the practical applications of your degree in graduate study and professional environments. Tether your expertise in mathematics to a second area of study that connects with your passions and invokes your curiosity.
Our general education program further broadens your worldview, encouraging you to study outside your comfort zone and into new realms of interest. Invest in your position as a citizen of the world through courses in social sciences, humanities, biblical studies, and communication. Explore the full Faith, Roots, and Reason curriculum.
Ground your expertise across all math specialties, including statistics, discrete mathematics, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, number theory, probability and statistics, geometry, and mathematical analysis.
At PBA, we believe in holistic learning that encourages real-world applicability. To empower you with a well-rounded degree, the mathematics major involves programming or additional courses in computer science along with lab-based courses in life science and physical science.
